The mission of Luke 14:12 is to provide hot, nutritious meals to the hungry, homeless and working poor of the Nashville area. Luke 14:12 is an ecumenical outreach program through which persons of diverse faith communities join together in a common effort to address the needs of those who are inadequately fed.
Join us one Tuesday or Friday. Work alongside our staff in the kitchen. Meet our guests. Serve your neighbors.
From our Executive Director
I can't tell you how exciting it is to be a part of the mission of Luke 14:12. Each day we open our doors to whoever chooses to join us: the homeless, the hungry and the working poor. Yes, we serve our guests a quality, nutritious meal, but more importantly, we offer hospitality and respect to anyone who enters our dining room.
It would be impossible for Luke 14:12 to serve our guests without the generous support of our donors or without the gracious participation of our volunteers. Luke 14:12's volunteers are of vital importance to our daily operations. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and many represent local faith communities, businesses and other organizations. We are proud that Luke 14:12 exemplifies the ability of various groups to come together to take care of those less fortunate.
