Amazon delivered something special to Luke 14:12

this week - and it wasn’t in a box!

We were blessed to welcome two wonderful groups of Amazon volunteers to our kitchen this week, and they certainly delivered!

On Tuesday, the team rolled up their sleeves to help prepare and serve a hearty Southern-style lunch featuring panko-crusted pork loin, pinto beans, sweet potatoes, garden salad, cheesy cornbread, and homemade-style apple crisp.

Thursday brought another enthusiastic crew and another delicious menu: Cajun chicken and rice casserole, cheesy squash and zucchini, garden salad, bread, and banana pudding. From chopping vegetables and assembling casseroles to putting the finishing touches on dessert and serving our guests, these volunteers jumped right in and made themselves at home in our kitchen.

Throughout both days, the Amazon teams worked alongside our regular volunteers, bringing plenty of energy, laughter, and willing hands to the task of feeding our Nashville neighbors.

At Luke 14:12, we believe a good meal is about much more than what's on the plate. It's about fellowship, dignity, and reminding every guest that they matter. Our Amazon volunteers helped deliver all three.

A PRIME-sized thank-you to our friends at Amazon! Your generosity, enthusiasm, and servant hearts made this a truly special week at Luke 14:12.

We hope you'll make a return delivery soon!
